Jodi is the Director of Education. She is an RN with over 17 years of experience. Jodi has spent the majority of that time helping parents welcome their babies into the world, either by way of the birth room or classroom. Gretchen is the Director of Operations. She has a background in communications and management. Lyndie is the Corporate Program Manager. Her professional background includes almost 10 years in corporate sales, bringing on new partnerships and developing customer relationships. All of our childbirth teachers are either Registered Nurses or Certified Childbirth Educators, and you’ll find a range of experts in all our classrooms, from lactation consultants to parent educators. Dr. Annelise Skor Swigert is a board certified Ob/Gyn physician who has been in private practice at Southdale Ob/Gyn for almost 20 years. Her passions are pregnancy, child birth and the personal relationship she develops with her patients. Realizing that the birth experience is an integral part of pregnancy, Dr. Swigert has developed a collaborative midwife practice into her group, so that women have options for healthy, safe deliveries. Dr. Swigert has been named Top Doctor by MSP magazine every year since 2012.
Dr. Swigert is a leader, both locally and nationally, in women’s health care initiatives. She is currently the CEO of Premier Ob/Gyn of MN, a consortium of over 50 Ob/Gyn health care providers. Since 2015 she has had an independent medical consulting business, SkorMed.
Outside of work Dr. Swigert enjoys everything French, the language, the food , the travel; and is very active with her two teenage children.
