Amma Parenting Center is the exclusive provider of childbirth and new parent education for the four metro Allina Health hospitals: Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, St Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee, and United Hospital in St Paul.

Amma Parenting Center is the preferred partner of childbirth and newborn preparation classes for parents giving birth at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital. Families can take classes at any of our metro locations, but no classes are offered at the hospital itself.

Pregnancy & Postpartum Support Minnesota (PPSM) is a group of mental health & perinatal practitioners, service organizations, and mother volunteers who provide support, advocacy, awareness, and training about perinatal mental health in Minnesota. The team of volunteers provides services to those struggling with a pregnancy or postpartum mood disorder through the Helpline, professional training, a resource list and website.
We partner with the Minnesota chapter of the March of Dimes to promote the “Healthy Babies Are Worth the Wait” campaign. Important brain and organ development are still happening all the way up to 39 weeks gestation, and we educate families about the important of avoiding unnecessary induction before this time.
Everyday Miracles is a community non-profit dedicated to reducing health disparities for low income families. They provide high quality doula care, childbirth education, car seats, yoga, and more. Amma helps families in need connect with the services and resources at Everyday Miracles.
Queer Birth Project supports LGBTQ families and the professionals that serve them, during family building and early parenting. Amma is proud to partner with Queer Birth Project to train our staff to ensure cultural competency. Amma provides resources and referrals to Queer Birth Project to support their operations.
