This Location

Most weeknights we are running classes in the evening and are open later than 5:00. Feel free to call and check our hours for the day.

The Edina Center is located in the Yorktown Mall near Southdale and the Galleria. This area is home to many coffee shops and restaurants for the convenience of our clients. Wendy’s and Panera Bread are both located on the same block.

Classrooms

Please check in at the main front desk when arriving for your class. The staff will help direct you to your classroom. All Auditorium classes are on the main level.

Maplewood Professional Building

This Location

All of our classes take place in the Maplewood Professional Building attached to the back of St John’s Hospital.

Once inside the main doors, take the elevators up to the second floor, where you will see the Watson Education Center, a series of classrooms which house our prenatal classes. Look for signage and the classroom indicated on your enrollment confirmation email. If you are unsure of your classroom, please feel free to call our Edina center and ask.

Parking

There is ample free parking right in front of the Maplewood Professional Building.

Meals

Please feel free to bring snacks and your own lunch if desired. There is also a cafeteria.

Maple Grove

This Location

All of our classes in Maple Grove take place in the Park Nicollet Maple Grove Clinic and Specialty Center. The classes do not take place in the hospital or the Park Nicollet OB/GYN clinic.

Parking & Entrance

  • If you are taking a class in the Third Floor Conference Room, park in the main parking lot and enter the main door (by Tria). This is the entrance closest to the intersection of Maple Grove Parkway and Upland Lane. Take the elevators to the thrid floor, and you will see the conference room to the left of the waiting room. Do not take the stairs, as they don’t go all the way up to the third floor.
  • If your class is in the Surgical Center Conference Room, continue driving on Upland Lane past the main building and go right into the Surgical Center entrance, which is a separate building south of the main clinic. Park in the large parking lot on the side (please do not park right in front), and enter the Surgical Center doors. The conference room is just past the welcome desk down the left hand hallway.

Helpful Information

There are no dining facilities in the building itself. For classes that run over the lunch hour, please bring your lunch or be prepared to drive a short distance to one of the nearby fast food restaurants.

Parking options

  • Valet parking is available at the South Entrance from 5 am – 8 pm & Street parking at meters
  • The underground Green Garage of the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital building.  Please note parking is not validated  at UMMC, the normal parking fees apply.

Classrooms

All of our classes at the U of M Masonic Hospital take place in the East building.  Parking in the Green Ramp and coming up the elevators to the lobby will bring you to the right welcome desk.  The Brennan Center is located on the lobby level.

Meals

Please feel free to bring snacks and your own lunch if desired.  There is also a cafeteria and a coffee shop.

  • Breakfast: 6:30 am – 10:15 am
  • Lunch: 10:45 am – 1:30 pm
  • Afternoon Grill: 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm
  • Dinner: 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Bambinis Coffee is a full-service coffee shop located on the lobby level with service outlets in both the Masonic Children’s Hospital and the East lobby.

All of our classes take place at the Fairview Ridges Education Center, which is down the road from the actual hospital.  The classes do not take place in the hospital.

This Location

All of our classes take place in the North Building, in the 2nd floor conference rooms.

Please park in the West Ramp off of Jackson Street, go in the Regions entrance, and take the elevators to the 2nd floor. Follow the signs to the North Building, where you will see the North Oaks conference rooms. Look for signage and the classroom indicated on your enrollment confirmation email. If you are unsure of your classroom, please feel free to call our Edina center and ask.

Parking

Please park in the West Ramp off of Jackson Street, and enter in the “Regions” entrance (not the “Gillette” entrance).

Meals

Please feel free to bring snacks and your own lunch if desired.

Cafeteria hours:

  • Breakfast – Monday – Friday 6:30 to 10:30 am; Saturday & Sunday 7:00 to 10:00 am
  • Lunch & Dinner – 11 am to 7:00 pm (every day)

The Overlook Coffee & Deli (located on the 2nd floor hallway between the South and West sections) serves to-go coffee, grilled sandwiches, and specialty salads and desserts. Open daily 6:30 am to 9:00 pm.
