Your primary responsibility will be to bring your expertise, engaging teaching and our curriculum to the Amma Classroom.
Additional tasks associated with this job include but not limited to:
Turning on the computer and running a powerpoint
Light classroom set up/tear down
General care of classroom supplies
Client interaction
Have fun!
As a New Mama instructor, not only do I get to see sweet babies grow and change from week to week, I also get to see mothers grow and change. And for me, this is the best part - watching moms blossom into confident, empowered parents who can fold their baby into their lives and keep on doing the things they love while learning how to be nurturing and available to their little one. I love it when moms come to a place of trust in their mothering and are able to relax a bit, knowing that loving their child is enough.
I would say one of the greatest joys I have working at Amma is teaching the spectrum of new parent classes.
I work with a great team of women! I think I have been at Amma Parenting for about 6 years...time flies!
It is a privilege to come along side new moms and encourage them on their new journey of "Motherhood".
I have been working at Amma Parenting for five years now. I absolutely love teaching new parents and empowering them to make educated choices for a positive birth experience and encouraging them in their parenting journey.
My favorite part about working at Amma Parenting is to be able to reassure these new moms their feelings, and experiences are normal. It is great to be able to connect each week to discuss new milestones and see how the little ones change and mature. It is also great to see more confident moms, who really know their babies by the end of the course. I have been with Amma Parenting since September 2016.
